IACV whining! Solution to my hesitation problem??
`92 Crx Delsol VXI D15B engine.
For the last month I have been trying to solve my hesitation problem. Hesitation occurs randomly with a warmed up engine and below 3K rpm under large throttle openings.
I have also noticed that engine takes a little bit of more time to start. (lets say from the usual 2 seconds to 4 seconds to start).
Today I went to start the engine and with the ignition on; heard a whining noise coming from the IACV. If I unplug it the noise dissappears. I have never noticed such noise before.
Do you think it has do with the hesitation problem? Does anyone knows how the iacv works?

have you bleed the coolant or flushed it lately?
try that. if it still does it. replace it. dont clean it. if your that far (taking it off) just replace it and bleed the coolant
