iacv problem with performer x intake
Alright i think i figured this out just need some confirmation before i go and take this shhh off
Did the auto2manual conversion a while back ran fine cel #14 cause i had the auto iacv on..... i switched the wiring to the 2 wire manual iacv. and had to put the sensor on the manifold as opposed to the auto on the TB... (fckin smog check)
THE PROBLEM!
I get code #14 and the idle fluctuates...
The intake manifold isnt drilled on both holes only 1 hole is drilled all the way and the other is predrilled....
Top one is drilled all the way bottom one isnt
thats why i think i get my cel light after everything is on

Re: iacv problem with performer x intake
My question is... do i have to drill the other hole completely so my sensor will work properly?..... this is the 2nd iacv ive tried and both dont solve the problem.... with one the idle is bad and with the other its fine but the cel still comes on

Are you referring to the middle holes or the two threaded hole for the bolts? Both bolt holes should be drilled and threaded, the two middle holes, one should be drilled all the way the other should be drilled halfway. Here's a stock one for reference (on the bottom):

That's why I was asking earlier what ecu he's using because if its an auto P2P or manual or auto P2E you can't convert it to 2 wire it has to stay 3 wire.

If you put the observations together (IACV electrical code and flashing lights), it's reasonable to assume that the IACV power wire (Yel/Blk wire) that comes from the main relay is shorting or loose. Have somebody knowledgeable with wiring and circuits look into this for you.
