IACV issues....need help please
I believe I have a problem with my IACV but I'm not quite sure what to do next. My IACV does not click when unplugged and plugged back in with the ignition on, although it does click if i test it with a 12v battery so I don't think the unit is bad. I tried cutting the Gnd and taking it directly to Gnd but I just got a check engine light. I'm guessing that may have not just been a gnd so I stopped messing with it to get some more info. Can anybody tell me where each wire from the IACV goes and what exactly it does voltage wise?

Looking at your IACV connector, you'll have a Yel/Blk wire and a Blu/Yel wire.
The Yel/Blk wire supplies battery voltage to the IACV, which also supplies voltage to the injectors, EVAP purge solenoid and the O2 sensor.
The Blu/Yel wire controls the IACV by providing a ground. This is not a constant ground, but a pulsed waveform meant to hold the IACV open. The IACV always wants to 'close down' because there is a spring pushing on the plunger that is being actuated by the ECU. This is also why the idle should drop when you disconnect the IACV.

Listen to EE_Chris, this guy knows what he is talking about. He helped me troubleshoot my strange idle and I didn't listen to him the first time, and it cost me about $200. After I took his suggestion, my problem (FITV) was solved.

Also, my idles low when cold and higher when warm??? Thats my actual problem.
