Default iacv fix

the car is a 98 civic dx, i did a y8 intake manifold swap...and i used the y7 throttle body with the 3 wire iacv...i also swapped a p75 ecu in with a wire conversion harness...now my iacv isnt working properly, and i have idleing issues...so does this mean i should have switched to the 2 wire?...i thought if i used the p75 ecu, i wouldnt have to switch...or am i wrong?
thanks for any help

Why are you using a P75 ECU to begin with? Start with getting a more correct ECU. Yes, you need a 2-wire IACV. Then you're gonna have to do something with the 3-wire IACV mounted on the throttle body because unplugging it doesn't close it (read: vaccum leak) down like a 2-wire IACV does.

i am using a p75 ecu because i ordered a po6 and was told that a p75 is very similar and once chipped and tuned it really wont matter...but thats not what my question was about...anyways...should i put the y8 tb back on now, and then just find a 2 wire plug for the y8 iacv?
