Default IACV on 97 LX

Hi, after searching for an answer on the site i came up with nothing so...
I have a 97 civic lx with a d16y7 AT(for now) I recently purchased a SK2 66mm throttle body which required alot of work because of the top fed intake manifold. So after i hooked everything up i figured id let the IACV wire sit unplugged but when its not plugged in the engine hunts to the point that i don't feel safe driving it. so what i did then because it wont fit on the new throttle body was plug the sensor in to the old throttle body and let it sit in the bay doing nothing, that improved things but it is causing my transmission to jump all over the place. A little help would be greatly appreciated also if you couldn't tell Im really new to car modifications. Thanks alot guys

Remove the throttle body, put the factory one back in place. Sell the Skunk2 throttle body and hope you don't lose your *** on resale.

Did you put a 66mm throttle body on the stock manifold?

you'd stand to gain much more with a y8 oem manifold, for around $50.

sk2 throttlebody wasn't meant to be used on an automatic...not any that I've seen, because it was meant for manual transmission.

You aren't going to gain anything from this.

The money you spent on the throttle body could have paid for a part of the 5spd conversion.
