Default iacv

Hi guys. I just did a b18b swap on my 96 civic dx hatch and changed the iacv wires from a three pin to two pin and it idled at 2500-3000 so o changed the iac valve ...still doing it and i still have cel for the iac so im not sure where to go from here

Just to be clear i changed the pins on the ecu as directed but its not working

My first assumption would be to check the wires for continuity...

I would also check for vacuum leaks as I just experienced myself today will result in the same issue.

What happens if you remove your throttle cable off the throttle body? It could be a tight throttle cable cause the throttle plate to stay partially opwn

I kind of thought there was something wrong with the throttle body but why would it throw an iacv code?

Try adjusting you idle screw on your throttle body.


Its a flat head screw on the front of the throttle body.

Id say 12 oclock on the body
