iacv 3-2 wire problem HELP!
 

hello my fellow ht ppl, i have a 97 lx and just did a y8 swap. im using a 99 y8 with obd2a harness and p2E ecu (non vtec). i did the 3-2 wire conversion cut the orange wire and move the black/blue wire from a14 to a12. so i started it up and right away i got code 14 (iacv) and jumps at idle up and down but most of the time it idles fine but still get the code. any ideas how to make this code disappear?!!?!?!
is it cus im using p2E ecu???

Yes the P2E is looking for the 3 wire and won't work with the 2 wire IACV wired, you'll need the P2P

just run the 3 wire iacv then? I don't understand why it's a big deal converting.

just put in a y7 throttle body with the 3 wire plug and converted the harness back to 3 wire -____-.

my problem now is that it jumps up and down at idle. code is gone, still running p2e

some intake manis come with a 2 wire plug for the iacv thats bolted to the intake mani and others come with 3 wire plug iacv located at the bottom of the throttlebody. i tried to avoid having 2 iacv with only one being plugged but my ecu thinks otherwise lol
