Default 93 civic wont start after swap

Like the title says, im having trouble starting after i swapped in a d15b vtec.
Ive tried everything i know any help will be appreciated. The problem im running into now is there is no fuel going to the rail. The fuel pump wont prime but the engine is getting spark, i sprayed starter fluid into the intake and it runs for about 30 secs then dies. I took off the banjo bolt at the fuel filter and nothing comes out and the one at the rail its bone dry. If anyone could just tell me where to start looking i would appreciate it. also i did the swap at my friends house and drove the car over there, so i think it would be highly unlikely that a fuel pump, main relay, or ecu is the problem. Thanks

Check whether fuse 31 or 24 is blown. If those are fine, resolder the main relay.

check fuel pump relays, make sure no fuses r blown, and make sure all the grounds r back on the engine, i kno the pcm has a ground on the thermostat housing, but u wouldnt b getn spark if that wasnt on. just some food for thought, ur prolly thinkin too hard n overlookin simple stuff.. lol
