iac valve CEL code after swap

is there any way to bypass the iac valve on a 2000 honda civic ex mini me vtec swap. my car was a vtec to begin with just spun a rod bearing and had a y7 block so just put it in. but i get the cel for the iac and was just wondering if it could be bypassed or cleaned something. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Why not just wire it up correctly instead of trying to bypass it?

What is the code?

I highly doubt cleaning it will make the CEL go away, but hell give it a shot.

You're not going to want to bypass it.

I was thinking it may be the 2 wire > 3 wire IACV deal...

@ OP: Is the car an EX, with original wiring and a Y8 head?

yes its an ex and the original y8 head the iac is the one that came on my car. just didnt know if it could be bypassed cuz i dont really have the 200 for a new one.
