Okay, so... how the hell do i get this thing off, and can I keep the hook?

I've undone the screws and all that, but it still wont budge. I don't know, maybe I'm an idiot.

did u take the bolt offfrom the end of the arm?
correct me if im wrong guy... wont there be a hole in the glass if u take the wiper off? how do u get around to pluggin the hole if there is one

Civic? If you take it out of a Civic HB, how are you gonna lock the rear hatch?

mmm... nope and I have a plug for the hole

Yea, it's a civic hatch. I was just looking at the lock and wondering the same thing to myself. I mean, I've seen this done, I'm just not sure how to do it...

there is a lock along with the rear wiper? they have 2 types right, because i know there are hatchback without wipers.

^^^ ya ive seen a few like that too.. and there was no hole in the glass... didnt get to see wut model it was... but im sure some1 can fill this in at some point

I thought he meant taking out the whole box itself and putting a rubber plug in. Not sure how it can lock that way.

he might have to go to the dealer, i'm pretty sure there is somthing they have to put there. my cousins 94 cx didn't come with a rear wiper.

Maybe i need the whole cx assembly or something. hmmm.....

Inside is a metal bracket connected by two bolts with your latch. You'll have to keep that. Just pull the arm off from the outside and put the plug in. Pretty sure it was CX's and VX's that came w/out a rear wiper. They still had the big plastic box on the inside with the latch. I hated it cuz it limited visibility, so I removed the plastic, then made my own bracket out of a Home Depot corner brace.
