Looks about right to me. high 14's isn't too hard to reach.

yeah i saw it... but did you notice... No blow down tube... That could have been avoided if there was a simply safety feature...

Re: I want to make my civic EG d16z6 fast!
It just depends on what car the motor is in. I have a 1995 hatch back thats between 2300-2400 lbs. I have intake, cam gear, pulleys, and exhuast. I'm some where around 15.2-15.3 area if it were a 1/4 mile run. If you have a 4 door with full interior and stereo it'll take more HP then if it were a stripped CRX. I guess your best bet is just to buy a bunch of bolt-ons, but that could get very expencive. It may lead to 130-140 WHP though.
So, if you want cheep get some nitrous /middle of the road but a bunch of bolt-ons /expencive get a nice turbo set up and run way better then high 14's.

This question is pretty open for just about anything...
What you should be doing is some research into what you want out of your car as far as reliability, power per dollar, etc.
The cheapest route would be to add nitrous to your motor as is, assuming you don't already have 200,000 miles. You could also go the turbo route, but sometimes those setups can get very expensive and troublesome.
There are several large D-series threads archived, and even still active on this site...So I hate to say this, but search.

Re: I want to make my civic EG d16z6 fast! (BloodShot Ek9)
i just put a comp 59300(zex stage 2) camshaft in my car and it helped a LOT. i also have an intake(with cold air supply), greddy header, and exhaust, oh and a little 50 shot . at sea level i should be in the 14s with good rubber and a good run but since i live at 8,000ft and having not run recently i couldn't tell ya what im running, i beat a 17s car without the nitrous, without the cam, so that puts me into the 16s which im told is like the 15s at sea level. next on my list is tires, a chip and suspension.

<-----awaits for Mista Bone
A Zex set up will do it.
My D16Z6 runs a 15.8 w/ intake and exhaust.
