I want to buy an AUDIO SYSTEM for my civic 1996 dx....Anything for 500 Dollars ?????

I want to buy an AUDIO SYSTEM for my civic 1996 dx....Anything for 500 Dollars ?????
So im looking to buy a new audio system for my civic.
All i have right now is 500 dollars.
I have NO AUDIO SYSTEm in the car at all, some ******* punk *** kids, broke my windows, and stole EVERYTHING, my entire ******* system that my dads friend installed for me as a birthday gift
Anyways, wat can i buy for around 500?
Should i buy just a deck and some good speakers first.....and then an amp and some subs
do i need good amp to power speakers, or is a deck enough to power speakers and no subs
the deck is something like 50 x 4 or watever.
All i have right now is 500 dollars.

Start off with like you said the Headunit, some decent spekers. Then you can add the amps and subs.

You can get a decent system for that much,you dont have to spend a lot to get amazing sound.
Right now my deck is a pioneer 6500 $250 ish
Speakers are some matching pioneer $100ish
Subs were $85 a piece
Amp was $15 (New it was a closeout and I worked there)
and my box I built myself with some free plans on the internet for $5 but I wouldent expect to pay more then $5 for a decent all purpose sub box.
Your best bet is going to see what your buddies have for sale, or going to the local flea market. The one by me can have some good deals at times.

circuit city and best buy always have something going on like free boxes with subs or something.. look into tho... audio forum has a lot of stuff...
