i want better 4 wheel disc for my 92 cx and i dont want abs..what donor for the parts?
whats up..well ive noticed..that my car likes stopping less and less lately so im thinking about just swapping all 4 corners to better disc's..i dont want abs though..what car do i get a 4 wheel disc conversion from with out abs? i was thinking a 94-01 integra ls or somthing...i havent read a whole lot on brakes but i know what i want...also what about the mastercylinder, brake booster, and the proportion valve..which ones do i need for the best setup possible for my application?..also if theres anything you guys know of from experience that i havent mentioned please say somthing

An ABS system is seperate from the brake system in a way, so you can run ABS brakes without running the ABS and it will be just fine.
That means you can use Type-R or GS-R brakes no problem. It all depends on the amount of money you wanna spend. How much are you working with?

GSR front and rear brakes, with the master cylinder and brake booster from an Integra RS will be decent. upgrade to SS lines and better pads and it should be plenty of stopping power.

ok so far this is my list:
94+ integra 4 wheel disc
94+ integra 40/40 prop valve
94+ integra e-brake cable
90-91 civic ex 4 door master cylinder
ss lines for a 94+integra gsr
oem pads for a 94+integra gsr
powerslot rotors for a 94+integra gsr
what about a brake booster? is my stock cx one the same as all the others?how does the setups sound so far? what about brake fluid? dont i need to use aftermarket fluid with ss lines?

EG Si brakes are all you probably need in the real world... outside of enduro racing.

Regarding using OEM brake pads with Power Stop Rotors. Do Not do the cheapies you get from Pep Boys, Advanced Auto Parts, etc. Those lifetime pads will eat up those rotors in a heartbeat. Use the Green Stuff pads or AEM pads or at least get organic pads not the metallics. Do this if u intend on keepings the rotors from warping and grinding over time.

i use the GREEN pads, cheap and not very dusty, no noise, and they stop really well. cheap autozone stock replacement rotors too

You must have never driven an EG with a Type-R conversion. Not only does the pedal feel and heat resistance (glazing and such) improve 100 fold, it feels incredibly safer on the street as well. Stopping distance diminishes very quickly. It can mean the difference between a fu<k3d up car and just an embarrassing moment. It feels cool to stop that fast, too.

for daily driving, GSR brakes all around, teg RS brake booster and mastercylinder will do fine or maybe even surpass its duty.
im planning on getting this set up myself but for a road racing application. obviously im gonna go with some race pads, SS lines, slotted rotors, etc.
there is a big thread about brakes, search for it. i think its in the sticky FAQs in this forum

http://www.frozenrotors.com from Golden Valley, Minnesota sells cryogenically frozen Brembo brake rotors in solid, cross-drilled, slotted, or any combo thereof. The last longer, stop better, and warp less--the site has all the info. They can also cryo any engine part you want, but that's another post.
I'm going to try one of the Endless pads--they have many to choose from, but i don't have personal experience. Right now, I'm running stock Type-R pads and have no complaints at all.

you got these two confused. get cheap rotors from autozone, and some good pads. rotors are a wear item, get the cheapest ones availiable that will do the job. pads are way more important to stop quickly. search the archives for brake pads, to find which ones you think will suit your needs.
also get some motul or other good brake fluid, and you should be cool.
