i took out the main air C. unit that bolts on to the motor. i took out the coolant lines and unplugged the sensors from the AC fan and ac radiator or whatever its called. i thought that was the problem soi just put the AC fan back in and plugged it in but still no go. why would my engine cooling fan and temp gauge have anything to do with the Ac. it didnt on my 89 hatch i used to have..

i mean the AC lines. the ones that hold the freon. not the antifreeze hoses or anything..
but i dunno why my temp sensor dont work? i can hardwire the fan to a switch if i have to but id like to know the temp..

there is a sensor on the side of the block just behind the top radiator hose where it connects to the head.....there is a one wire (female) connector on your wiring harness and a connector (male) on the head.....this is your tepmprature "sending Unit" to the gauge cluster......make sure that i s plugged in.....they tend to "fall off" when working around them and its possible that it was knocked off when you were working.....this happens alot with the older motors.......just a thought....this moght be your problem.
