I though I was gettin away from Hondas, Well guess what I just bought!?>
A 2000 Civic SI
Red
60000 Miles
Got it from a car dealership for 10,000.....j
that is about 1000 below wholesale value..
It has a couple mods- Windshield washer LEDs that Im taking off tommorrow and throwing in the garbage... It has Glowing pedals that im taking of and throwing out..
It has a huge 5 inch tach as you can see in the pic which i am taking off and selling...
It has an exhaust and header. It has been raced, it had Englishtown, N.J raceway stickers on it
I will de rice it and make it into a beautiful car....
The only thing is I never car faxed it, but it doesnt look to be damage in any way, and the engine VIN matches the car...
Here is a pic of it for sale at the dealership, I will have more, but Im sure you guys have seen Red SI's before

why do people buy SIs? would it be a lot smarter to buy a DX, swap in a b18, paint match the moldings, get some rims and the front lip, and end up with a car that is faster and costed less?

Yeah that is a lot of miles, all highway, so i dont car... I saved in about 1000 bucks in mods already that came with the car, with the I/H/E, and the python alarm, and the CD player who cares about the mileage. And it came with GC coilovers and KYB AGX
Plans for now, tint windows, rims.
Maybe a turbo, or vortech SC in the future...Not sure yet...

Maybe people buy SI's because they look decent, come with a dohc VTEC motor, have a moonroof 
and other power crap and because they make a good daily driver.. Now that I think about it, why did I buy a 2000 MR SI brand new?? Good car, but if I could go back I would've purchased a 2001 STUNNA yellow ITR.. BTW, good find and good price. Hopefully the car hasn't been beat on too much. De-ricing is a good start.. Good luck..

its a 'sporty' 'fast' car for a good price, that many people can enjoy WITHOUT VOIDING A FACTORY WARRANTY. the whole world of honda buyers dont buy so they can swap, infact very few do.
get over it, not everyone wants to be just like you.

The bank has an easier time of giving me 10 grand for a car worth it, instead of a dx worth 6000 and a 4000 extra for a swap......Its called collateral.
