I think something is wrong please help!!!!
y0! whats up i have a 2k1 ex with 32,000 on it and i think there is something wrong with the steering or something.
When i am proceeding from a parking space turning out or at home turning from my driveway, or in the middle of a turn(very slow speeds only) i hear this knocking noise. this doesnt happen when i am normally driving just at very slow speeds like 0-3mph.
i took it to honda and they said zilchis wrong but i think they are dicking with me b/c the warranty is almost up. I checked the cv joints and the boots arent ripped so dont know what it could be. anyone have any suggestions?
I wouldnt normally be worried about this but it didnt make the noise when i bought the car new so it cant be good. any suggestions on what it could be or look for would be greatly appreciated thanx guys.

i want to say it is probably something to do w/ the rack b/c of the steering noises!(but your car only has 30K,and that is very unlikely but not impossible) BUT have you checked the wear on your tires lately?? a cupped or worn tire will make a crazy hum noise at certain spds! if it isn't your tires check your rack and pinion and see if it is wet looking and check your PS fluid why you are at it!
and one more thing check for anything that your wheels may be coming in contact w/ EX. inner fender covers or something that shouldn't be where it is!

Drive the car with a dealer in the car to reproduce the noise. Then make the dealer sign something acknoledging they heard the noise. You will then get the work done

no i haven't changed them i have just rotated them. it doesnt sound like tires the wheel can almost be straight and i just turnit abit and it makes the knocking noise.

your honda warranty is good at any honda dealer nationwide correct?? so take the car to anothe dealership and see what they say is the problem..
