Default i think one of my teins is broken.........help.. kinda long

i made a thread yesterday and no one replied so im taking all of you basterds to court!
now with that out of the way my passanger rear tein damper dosnt click at all anymore....i dont know why..its not leaking oil/gas..it works fine but the little silver part where you stick the allen dosnt turn anymore. what is the problem?

they are tein super street dampers for a 94-01 gsr on a 92 cx hatch. i read all of the directions before i put them on and again when i was putting them on. i set them all clockwise (stiff) installed them uising all my oem parts(top end) then after i got it all together i set the car on the ground set the front dampers to 6 clicks back from stiff and the rears back 8 clicks from stiff(both settings recommended by tein in instructions) i also read they are 16 way adjustable but the fronts are 18 and the rears are 14? what the hell is that? im thinking im gonna have to call tein and try to get it rebuilt which sucks because ive had them since christmas eve
i have the funds to have it rebuilt its just weak as **** becase they sent them to me this way all i did was install them they way it says in the damn book they send! thats a long sentance

how big is 30 mm? in inches maybe thats the problem? the bottom of the spring is 2 inches and i think 2 inches is like 60 mm and tein recomends 30mm.

30mm = 1.18inches I believe so 60mm = 2.36inches

do you think since the front is seat at 2 inches and the rears are at 2/14 it could be messing with the adjustibility of it?

The sales guys can't offer much help. The tech however can, but I don't think most of them speak english. I dunno. I say pull it off take it down there, have the guy check it out and see if it needs to be rebuilt.

im in illinois, tein is in california im gonna call tomorrow and see if they think it should be rebuilt or not..i called the place i bought them from and they said call tein and tell them they are 2 days old and one of them is non adjustable.

now im gonna have to pay for shipping and a rebuild so these ss's will end up being as much as the n1 kit

yeah, you should send those into Tein. Gonna be a pain, but it will protect your investment.

You shouldn't have to pay for a rebuild at all, since the shocks come with a warrenty. Pretty lousy of the place you bought them from, since they should be dealers and should handle this problem for you.

When you talk to Tein, make sure to mention to them that the shop you bought them from offered no assistance.

Whatever you do, dont force the adjustment.

i just spoke to the owner of the place i bought them from he is gonna call tein usa when they opnand tell them the problem..then hes gonna call me back with a fedex arrangment to pick up the one shock so tein can send me a brand new one

i will have to pay nothing and wait about 3-6 days for my new shock

the owner says this is the first time he has ever heard of this problem and he also says since they are 2 days old the shock will be replaced with a new one and not rebuilt so now i have to go uninstall the shock and strip it down for shipment its worth it im glad i bought tein other wise id be spending more cash right now

Tein will help, simply call them, but make sure you have a receipt. I`ve taken one back and it was replaced no questions asked. Their customer service is great. Send it to me and I`ll take it there for a 12-pack of Coors Light
