The VIN on the tranny is located right on top of the clutch cylinder. VIN on the engine should be on front, very bottom of the block behind the lower exhaust manifold.

Somehow I doubt you'll find any intact VINs on it if it's stolen. Do you have any legal proof that it's your stuff?

Good luck..... and involve the police. Possession of stolen property is not a good thing on his part.

Keep us updated too!

Don't mention anything to him, he could have time to remove the evidence. If you have proof of the engine/tranny being YOURS then call the police and let them do something GOOD for you as a First. Damn po po. Put them To WORk for YA!
DO NOT give him anytime to rid of that **** thou...

Why don't you just steal something from him, enough to cover your losses?

Exactly. Any reputable place that sells USDM swaps, like IAS or HAP Recycling doesn't remove VIN numbers. If it's not there in the front, I'd call the police just to be safe.

You have it all wrong.... Since im in Criminal Law, and know a thing or 2 about the subject. first you crush his head with something heavy. Knock out all his teeth, and cut his fingers off. Then get Jet fuel (burn's hot as ****) and light that ****** up.... no way you'll ever get cought.

you gotta flush the teeth and fingers in a public bathroom though

I'm a sick mother ******
