Default I searched and found nothing... CEL Question

Hi Guys

Just got a 1999 Acura 1.6 EL after I sold my B16A2 EG hatch..

Anyhow, the CEL has come on and I can't find any info on how to pull the code so I can see what my problem is.

Any help would be appreciated.

You sold a B16 hatch for a 1.6 El.... isn't that a SOHC?

Go to Autozone, they will pull the code for free.

Yeah I needed something a little larger and something more livable and winter friendly! I'll miss that car, the SOHC D16 VTEC is slow as hell.

No autozone around here and I was wondering if it was something I could fix myself while I was bored today

because I needed a bigger/more comfortable car. I got a great deal on it so I bought it. I've had enough of relatively fast cars for awhile.

Can anyone help me?

Should be the same procedure as a Civic. Locate the service connector in the passenger foot well and use a piece of wire or a paper clip to jump the connector. Then turn the ignition to ON and count the number of short and long blinks.
