clutch pedal goes to the floor and doesnt come back up and car still wont go in gear

lol, for real. first thing you should do is check for fluid in the resivoir, if there is fluid i would follow the lines from the master to the slave and check for leaks.

Maybe you should tell us what originally led you to replace the MC. Did you put a new transmission or clutch on? What happened? Help us help you, noob.

how much did you bleed the system. When I change a slave I have to bleed it even after solid fluid comes out to purge the air from the start of the system. Did you make sure that at no point during bleeding that the resiviour ran out of fluid?

ok last friday had some trouble getting in my driveway cause of the ice,monday i went to move the car and it wouldnt go into gear.the resivoir was empty added fluild still wont go into gear.behind my rug was wet by the clucth master cycl. so i replaced today filled everything up and bleed it now the pedal stays at the floor and wont come up.dont know what else to check.

you should of replaced the slave cylinder as well.
keep bleeding it. it'll take a while, but you will get it.

you do know how to bleed it right, right?

yeah it takes time for the pedeal to come up. you are bleeding it from the slave right?keep pumping the pedal by hand and keep a close eye on the reviour as you do it cause if it goes dry you'll just suck more air into the system.

when you replaced the master cylinder did you replaced the sleeve cylinders too ?

no didnt do the slave cycl. but im getting some pressure in the pedal but it still down low.i didnt set the piece that the pin from the pedal goes in could that be part of the problem

u have to change the slave, this happened to me when i did my conversion.

I'm having the same problem. I changed my slave and the one I removed from the car looked bad so i thought i fixed the problem. I got pressure to the pedal after I changed the slave but it wouldn't go into gear. Now I changed the master too and bled the system. It went into gear nicely right after I bled the system then afterwards it would be hard and then later it wouldn't go in at all. I bled again and the same thing. Any help?
