It was crazy. I was trying to get his attention with my horn so he would pull over and i could ask him about his car(what engine, what turbo)......i am pretty sure i saw a turbo timer,,,,,,it was llow as **** with a racing medallion exhaust.......then he just took off fast as hell......i ddin't really try to keep up, bc the mustang is not mine....my dad would kill me up if i got a ticket but watever. The point of the story is that the cx would have raped the Mustang GT. My dad never believes me that inline fours can be fast. I wish he was there.

p.s. does anyone know where there are clips online of a civic or integra crushing a mustang or any big american muscle car?

haha v8's the new ones 4.6 or whatever.. not as fast as the old gt's... but bottom line they can be beat by a hybrid.. with no mods..

I saw a 96 Mustang Cobra (4.6) almost fully built, supercharged,and some other goodies get smoked by a 92 DX with a built gsr with a small turbo.....they both had traction issues because both were on street tires but even on slicks the civic definitly would of raped him....Funny thing is that the mustang guy spent a lot more money than the civic guy....Anyways back to the point....
Kazaa has some good videos i have a few...Ive hear of this virus going around that you get from thatp rogram but ive had it for a long time and nothing yet...

No turbo'd civic with a b18c1 will beat a supercharged stang cobra off the line.

(did some research for these numbers)
b18c1 civic = 14.3s 1/4
b18c1 civic + turbo = 13.5s 1/4
b18c1 civic + turbo + street tires = 13.5+

stang cobra = 13.9s 1/4
subercharged stang cobra = 13s
supercharged stang cobra + goodies + street tires = 12.5s

My conclusion - Cobra driver sucked.

I love my hondas and will always drive them, but you have to respect american iron's straight line speed. With dispacement and poor stock efficency, a stang responds much more nicely with modifications (exaust may net 30whp)

you REALLY can't generalize like that, dude. i've seen more than one 10 sec supercharged stang, as well as more than one naturally aspirated b18c civic in the 11s.

I know, but with the lack of details that he gave (he said a small turbo, can't put out that much power) that is the best I can do.
