Default I put a GS-R motor in my hatchback cx but I have a check engine light on,

I have a gs-r motor in my hatchback cx but the check engine light is on, the vtec is popping in hard *** hell but I just want to turn the check engine light off how could I do that? am using the p72 obd1 computer, just my homeboy rewired the three wires so vtec could pop in

Check what CEL it's throwing. If you don't know how, there's a connector that hangs from the harness by the ECU. Pull it out of its little holder and run a wire or paperclip to each side. From there count the blinks, a long one is 10 and short is 1.

from the way you talk, I doubt you wired in the IAB- intake air butterflies. How about jumping the service connector and seeing what codes are being thrown

iab's not connected does not throw a CEL....

once u check wht code its throwin you will know where to start lookin..... could be many things....knock sensor....O2 sensor etc. just to name a few comon ones
