i plan to boost soon. exaust?
ok ppl, i got a 93 civic hatch. and im putting my ls in it from my 94 4 door. so i got to get my exaust done, and i plan to boost in the near future..... so if im going to buy a 200 dollar apexi n1 muffler i think i wanna go ahead and get the one with a 3in inlet. but how much power will i lose with 3 in on a stock ls. i dont wanna be slow as hell till i boost. thanks
p.s. maverick i know what your response is so dont post. "it will mess up your valves if ur exaust is to big" lol

You won't really "loose" any power...maybe like 5hp...nothing noticable. When you boost it it'll be canceled out anyways, and the fact that you have 3" pipping will be well liked by the booosted app. As a wise man once said: "Turbo doesn't have it's own power, it amplifies what you already have"

Re: (y-49)
why spend 200 on an apexi muffler when other companies make a similar enough muffler for less than 1/2 of that price??? but yes 3" for a turbo dohc app is a good idea.

but he's going boost soon. Something I'd reccomend if your worried about the power you'd lose from a 3" exhaust while NA I say just get the 3" exhaust once you have the turbo done and deal with whateer exhaust is already on the car.
