Well Ive been looking to upgrade my stock headunit since the cd player dose not work and some of the lights have burned out. So I bought a alpine unit . I never have done a stereo install and I really want to do it myself. Ive search for stereo install but have no luck. Could anybody point me in the right direction to install a stereo in a 99 civic. Thanks

buy a plug and play wiring harness from best buy or raido stores. pull out old unplug. plug in new put where the old one was. 10 minutes tops. this is the eaisist way. about $45.00 for the harness.

Did you search in the audio/video forum? Just start taking stuff apart until the radio comes out. Get a harness kit at autozone, and splice it up. Then reverse to install the new head unit.

Be daring and take apart your interior. It's easier than you think.
