I need your help guys...
ok, here's my situation...
my brother has a crx with a JDM B18c with everything converted to OBD-0. i have a 2000 civic EK. he is planning on selling the CRX, but he offered on giving me the motor for free. BUT.... i was already planning on getting an H22, converting everything to OBD-1.
since this opportunity came up, i need some help...
do you think it would be cheaper to do all the conversions necessary to drop that gsr motor in my civic, OR start from scratch and get a H22 complete swap.
a deal with a 99 Si tranny is already in the works, so i have the tranny covered.
thanks guy. i really appreciate it.

There isnt much to convert for the B18C but the harness, depending if you want to be ligit or not. You can just buy an OBD-II to OBD-I jumper and use a P28 and everthing will be plug and play and the motor will drop right in. As for the big H, it will require more money and time to get in your EK. Not to mention the custom axles you are going to have problems with if they are not good quality. At least thats what my friends are going through. They are always having axle problems. They have yet to find a good set of custom axles. Hope this at least gives you an insight as to what you will have to do for each option. Also a search will also help you find post about H22 swaps in EGs and EKs.

basically, eg6 is right. i wouldnt do an h22 swap, because of all the extra bullshit that you have to invest in, and it isnt even worth it.

use the gsr. there are way more performance parts on the market and its is easy to get stock parts.
h series stand alone
B series can enterchange parts
you will have to use an obd 2 oil pump since the cps sensor is there, your dizzy, & your injectors. & you have to wire up the second butterfly to open in the manifold depending on what ecu your using
