Default I need suspension help for my sol

So trying to take off my Shocks to replace them with my other shocks and coilovers, but the nut won't come off. I tried spraying wd-40 on it, but it still won't budge. The nut is located on the fork. I've been using it regular socket and it just wont move no matter how hard I try. Is there a way for me to loosen the bolt or take off my shock without taking the fork off?

If you have air tools they help if not is there any thing you can use to freeze the bolt? when metal frezes it conracts and often times you can losen bolts by freezing them I know canned air turned up side down works amazing at freezing things.

I dont think its possible to take the shocks out without removing the fork. I know the nut is welded on so be sure you are loosening the bolt side. other than WD40 or PB blaster I would use a breaker bar or anything else you could find to extend your wrench like a jack handle. I know a lot of people who know they are going to take out their shocks will spray it with WD40 a day or two in advance, you might just need to give it a little time to soak in.

Yeah, have an air compressor. I'll try it. Just hate hearing horror stories of bolts snapping.

work the bolt in and out and don't force it too much one direction. Like try to turn it 1/4 turn out, then back in 1/8, then out 1/4... An air impact does work amazing though...

Yeah have the compressor running right now. been trying to change my shocks all last night and tonight. The back forks are a bit small, so my brother told me to sand them down.

PB Blaster works wonders. I used it for my LCA bolts that were seized in the bushings. Spary on a day in advance. Then while you work on it. Try tightening slightly then loosening slightly. In like a back and forth motion, work it.
