I just got hooked up with 12000k hids complete, i got for free from a homeboy that didnt need it anymore. Would it be possible to convert the hid kit to fit a 97 civic? Would it be difficult? What would i have to do? Thanks to everyone in advance.

EDIT:i forgot to say the kit is for 94-00 integra.

If the kit is complete I don't see a problem whatsoever. Put them in your civic

you need the wire harness that goes from the ballast and will plug into your civic headlight plug which is 9003/H4. you can simply unplug the one you have now and plug in the one for your car. you may be able to find them online or check a local shop they probably will have extras from bad ballasts. I have a couple in my garage, they shouldn't be to hard to find. you could also hardwire it but I do not recommend doing that.

just buy new bulbs.
1200k is purple ish.
you must do a retro-fit.

oh wow, i definitely didnt realize that he said he had 12000K's... dude get 4300K's... and like ruben said, do a retrofit! You wont be disappointed!

arent integra bulbs 9006? i dont see how its going to fit unless you rig it. just get yourself a new kit its only like 60-80 bucks on craigslist and just sell the one you have now.

integra size is 9006. civic is H4.
it wont fit unless you rig it,
but i wouldn't rig it, just keep it looking clean

so basically you have the ballasts

go online and find the maker of the ballast for the plug that goes from the ballast to the plug on your car. as for the actual bulbs you can buy any h4 hid bulbs. I recommend getting bixenons though that way you can keep your high beams
