I need some help with some things
My civic was parked in the parking lot of a grocery store and was vandalized. They broke the windows took my radio and whole sound system, tires and rims, hood, bumber, intake and a few other parts. First of all I need to get it out of the parking lot so I need some cheep rims and tires for now. The car is a 98 Civic EX. It has a 4 lug pattern and I was wondering what rims would fit on my car...just that style rim off of another civic? Or are there other cars I can get them off of? And also anybody have any clue where to get some? The junkyards here (there being only 2) have 1 rim each and dont even know if they would fit correctly. Any help on any of this would be great thanks.

Re: I need some help with some things (irishgod247)
just get rims off of any civic or integra with 4 lugs. most 4 lugs in junkyards should work. they are 4x100 just measure.
that is messed up though, sorry to hear, but you must have had a long grocery list.

The bolt pattern for your rims is 4 x 100, this is a very common size. As long as you make sure the new wheels are 4x100, and aren't incredibly fat or anything like that, you'll be fine. I'm presuming you're just looking for something to get you by for a while.
Toyota Corollas, Ford Escorts, Chevy Prizms and Chevettes (it'd be pretty sweet to rock a set of Chevette wheels on your Civic ), lots of VWs and 87-up Nissan Sentras had 4x100s too, according to that chart.

The same size lugs you would need if you had any honda car.

Re: I need some help with some things (ek forever guy)
Haha yea thats what I was looking for the thread size thank you ....now would a 12 x 1.25 work or has to be the 12 x 1.5 size? I snagged like 30 lugs but only 7 are 12 x 1.5 and the others are mostly 12 x 1.25 and autozone, napa and checker don't carry the lugs for my civic (being the size 12 x 1.5)

I'm certain they do, but if he intends to use the stock wheels, the lug nuts must also be ball seat, rather than the more common tapered/conical seat found at most auto parts stores. Either way, a local Honda or Acura dealer would definitely have the necessary lug nuts for use with factory wheels.

Re: I need some help with some things (Padawan)
^^ Yep, and wouldn't be very expensive.
I'm positive I found 12x1.5 pitch oem replacement lugs at autozone.
Some people strip lugs and don't need tuner lugs, just a replacement.

Re: I need some help with some things (Padawan)
Here are some after pics taken a coupla days ago when the cops took theirs...
Rediculous what some people would do for some wheels and car parts. If I cought em in the action I woulda smashed their faces into pulp until the cops pulled me off of em. (I probably woulda got my a$$ kicked cause this was more than a 2 man job, but if there was less than 3....yea)
