I Need Some Help Buying A Car
2morrow im going to go look at a 1994 civic HB CX this car has 82,000 miles. 5spd,white, clean title, supposedly superb body and interior. All this for 2950. My question is there anything else that i should check on before deciding on purchasing the car. much would be appreciated thanks. im nervous

ask when the timing belt was changed, check if the car burns oil...also just check the oil.....check under the car to see if there is any damage.....and have them smog it for you hope this helps

checking the oil is pretty important. it can tell you a lot about how previous owners treated the car. most important of all; test drive it.

you can also take it to a shop and have them do a "pre-purchase" inspection. Most nicer shops will do this for pretty cheap. If it looks ok on your inspection, have the shop check it out, if there's only minor stuff wrong you can try to drive the price down, but if it's something big you won't feel stupid for buying a lemon
