I am new here so first of all I just wanna say was up to everyone!!!!
I had an engine swap done to my 95 Honda EX. How can you tell if you have a gen 2 or a gen 1 JDM B16A? I know you can tell by the wire connectors that are grey and the stamp on the head and the block. But the blocks I know they only say B16A. Can someone help me with the knowledge of JDM B16s?? I don't have much expertise in tearing apart the heads and checking inside. The tranny code also is a YS1. Could it be possible that the shop I had this done at changed the block and head to make it seem like it's a B16A gen 2. If this is the case I would also like some more advice as to what I can do and possibly go to the better business bureau with some hard core evidence. There are so many things and so much info that some of it at times is misleading. Sorry for the long post.
