I Need To Rebuild a D16A6
Hey H-T
I have a D16 with a spun bearing. I took off the oil pan and there is plenty of metal shavings in there.
OK, I want to rebuild the engine just enough to get it sold. But I really dont want to half-*** it, Id like to do it semi-right. What will I need to replace in the bottom end to feel comfortable that the new buyer will get some good miles out of it. While Im in there I should probably do all pistons and rings and all rod bearings. Can somebody help me with a parts list and approximate pricelist?
Any help or experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Jon Black

IM member B18C5-EH2, either his build up is still in the works or he has completed it. I searched for the thread created on it, but there was no listing found for the D16A6 thread I was in search for.
