1998 Honda civic 4 door lx automatic..... it is a california car.... but I think it was originally from arizona........ and it has about 142,000 miles on it


My check engine light came on.... and thanks to this forum & pdiggitydogg.... I did the "cel"for the code..... it came back as... Oxygen sensor #1......... I assume this is on the upper Manifold (the easy one to get to when the hood is open)

I think the OEM part number is 36531-P2E-A01 ????????

My problem is getting the correct sensor with the connector attached (really do not want to splice).... as they vary in price from $40 all the way up to $200 for a OEM one from the dealer.

I would like to purchase a Denso part because I think they are OEM equivalent....... but there are LOTS of different part #'s............. So which one do I get?????

well from personal expirence i spent over six hundred dollars on o2 sensors to fix my problem and do youself a favor and get oem imo hope all goes well
