I NEED HELP WITH MY V-TEC PLEASE AND OIL PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know people have done alot of posts on d series vtec not kicking in. well i have
done somethings to check it but still i dont hear it anymmore. i put my exhaust
back on to silence it, i check the oil level, i cleaned the mesh in the soloniod, i put i
positive wire from the battery to it and see if it would take power, unplugged
battery and reset cpu but nothing. i dont hear any differ from 4k to 6 k. why else
should i do? And second question.... how oil do you fill in you car everytime you
change oil? 4 quarts, right?

yes u put 4 quarts in, as far as the vtec kicking in with a D series, in all the Dseries vtecs ive driven ive never been able to tell or hear it. its definetly not gunna be anything like you hear or feel with a B series motor. most likely its workin and just isnt noticable. i mean i had a non vtec dx motor and i could pull with friends in EXs so the vtec doesnt really make much difference in the SOHC
