i need help with my timing belt
i have two identical d15b7 blocks and two identical heads. i took the timing belt off my old motor (threw a rod) since it only had 24k on the belt and i figured itd go right into place. well i tried to put the old belt on the new motor and its about 2 inches short. i need help troubleshootin what the problem could be. i need my car to roll in a funeral tuesday mornin. i will greatly appreciate any and all help.

I'm no expert but i had the same problem. try going to like a advance auto or whatever part store you have take the old one with you and just tell the you need a new belt a little bigger than this one and tell them your problem they should beadle to figure it out.

If it threw a rod, that belt may have stretched and is damaged. I'm not saying thats the reason why they are different lengths. New one is less than $30 dollars from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com less at autoparts stores.
