on my civic, I took a Roto-Zip, and cut off the bottom of the airbox, below my K & N filter, and took out all of the stock piping in the bumper. Also I advanced my timing to 17 degrees which was as far as it would go, and it runs noticeably stronger

But have fun getting to all the bolts without removing the bumper.
