well guys as the title said i really need help. i have two problem which i think personally is a major one.

well let me start by telling you guys what i have

i have a 97 b18b in an 96 ek
i have a b16 tranny

ok for some reason something wrong with my starter or what not. its like some its start and sometime it doesnt. whenever it doesnt start i have to take a speaker wire and touch the neg on the starter to the pos on the battery in order to get the engine to start. after i got it to start it work find after that. i just dont know if its the start or just some loose electrical wires or what. and when i try to start and it doesnt. it doesnt crank at all. all i hear is total silence beside the radio in my car and what not.

okay problem two.

ok ac thing is pissing me off. well the car drive normal without ac on around town. and it drives normal on highway with ac on. but when i drive with ac on around town esp around stop sign. the rpm will drop dramatically. sometime it will force the engine to shut down. i have no idea where to begin the troubleshoot process.

well those are the two of my problem. if anyone experience it or know what to do please lend a hand so i can get my car up to par. thanks ahead of time

for the starting prob...out of a haynes
-make sure that all the cables, both at the batt. and the stater are secrue...
-make sure that the clutch pedal is depressed...there is a switch there you could also check

....if starter motor does not turn at all when the switch is operated, and the solenoid doesn't click. the battery is bad, a fuse is blown, or the solenoid is bad

....if the starter motor does not turn, but the solenoid clicks. the problem lies with the main solenoid contacts or the starter motor itself
