im running a jdm itr on my 95 cx. im still running on the stock cx ecu. mech said not to run chipped p28 because ill throw a cel because i dont have a vtec pressure switch.

is it really best to run stock cx and no cel or chipped p28 with cel?

DONT run your B18C with the stock CX ECU. You're running way too lean, you don't have the right fuel mapping, and you're not going to have fun. I am running a chipped ECU with my B18C and no CEL. You can have whoever chips the ECU disable the pressure switch.

EDIT: your mechanic isn't that smart allowing you to run the B18C with a 1.5L SOHC NON VTEC 8-valve ECU.
