i need help with a d16y5 - vacuum leak and it goes into limp mode

Default i need help with a d16y5 - vacuum leak and it goes into limp mode

i put a p08-1 head on a d16y5 motor im having vacuum trouble runs good for about 30min then it goings in to limp mode please help

What do you mean vacuum trouble? Any CELs?

i hear a vacuum leak but cant find it i think it may be coming from the intake at the head i got a intake gasket for a d15b and the two gaskets r diff but everyone said it would work

A vacuum leak would not cause the engine to go into limp mode. Any CEL codes?

oh ok but what would make it go in to limp mode doesnt have any cel codes

Maybe install the correct gasket?

Does the CEL work? How do you define limp mode?

yes it works fine and the car will not go over 1500 to 2000 rpms
