here is the story... i have an obd0 b16a engine but i just found out the wire harness i bought for it is an obd1 will it work? My car is a 96 lx obd2 what adapter do i need for the pr3 ecu plugs? also will a hydraulic tranny work with the engine? What do you guys suggest is the best thing for me to do? Thanks for the help

Ummm..did you research much before buying the engine?

You will have to use your stock OBD2 LX harness....and rewire where necessary, and add the VTEC and knock sensor wires.

You will also have to switch to an OBD2 distributor and injectors.

For ECU a 96+ GSR will plug right in...or you will need an adaptor harness to run an OBD1 Del Sol VTEC ecu...or an adaptor to run a 99-00 Si ecu.

you might also want to get rid of the dinky Intake manifold that is on the b16a1 and also get a bigger throttlebody.... also the hydro tranny will work but you need a hydrolic clutch.....other than that it should be a straight forward swap...

You should be able to use your LX injectors.

Its not a bad idea. I believe all B and D series engines have the same injector, 240cc. Not sure if that applies to the C5...
