You need to get the damn thing tuned, then it'll be safe all the way to the redline...

You need some bigger injectors and fuel pump. It with no upgrade fuel management you are running lean. Stop pushing it or you will regret it later. You'll also need to run a step colder plug and gap the spark plug to .028-.030 inches. After all that get a some sort of engine management and get it tune. I'm assuming you have all the basic turbo stuff like intercooler, bov, wastegate, intercooler piping, and etc. already. If not, get them too.

i have a 96 honda civic ex d16y8 single cam v-tek. i added t3/t4 to4 turbo with tubular header, waste gate, blow off valve, big intercooler, 2 1/2 aluminun piping ....i olso added a aluminun performance radiator.........

thats my set-up............

my theory
what i think of why my car gets hot, maybe because when i am boostin, the car maybe is running lean. when it ignites the stock mixtures in the cilinder with boost in there, it produces more heat, if the mixtures is right with boost it will not produce a lot of heat....... can that happen, does a turbo gets really hot when you are not even reving that high............
my oil is ok, i dont need a oil cooler, not rigth now.... but my oil is not a reason my car gets hot, not even going 5 thous. rpm.

Sounds like you didn't do any fuel delivery upgrades! Get larger injectors, a 255, and get tuned before you blow it up.

i was reading this article on honda-tech.com

a stock map senor can read about 15 psi.
is that true.............my car can't even go beyond stock spring boost i only can go about 4 1/2 rpm i guess abot 7 psi and hear the turbo blowing from my seat, let go of the gas and hear the blow off saying (yeah baby, i'm boosting....hear me out)
well i guess thats me thinking...

does honda map sensor
read any boost.....what do you think?

You're limited to only 11psi max on the stock map. If you are planning on boosting anything more get a 2.5 motorola or 3bar map.

the stock map can read up to 11 psi when it is set up to. it sounds to me like you are driving on a completely stock ECU and fuel system. therefore you need to park your car and not drive it until you can get that taken care of. you are going to need:
chipped obd1 ECU (running hondata, crome, uberdata, neptune...)
obd2a to obd1 conversion harness
larger injectors (saturated would be easiest)
walbro 255 fuel pump.

and then find a good tuner

yes sounds like some DSM 450cc injectors and the resistor box is in order for you, also the walboro 255 lph fuel pump. Also get the NGK plugs, heat range 7. You also need tuning software and your car will need to go obd1. Buy a OBD1 P28, Obd2a to obd1 conversion harness, and get the ECU chipped with Crome, Ubderdata or go baller and get hondata or AEM. Once you have these things report back for further help

Read up. BTW, these are the kind of things you want to research BEFORE putting a kit (or lack there of) like this on your car. I mean fuel management is a BASIC part of boost. I don't see how you could try and boost without it.

That's funny you say that. Actually, I did work for my car. I pay my own insurance (~$240) a month, I pay my cell phone bill, hell, I even pay my own gas. What am I missing? A house payment? I didn't tell you to leave, I said go get bigger injectors and pump, get a tune, and come back. But since you are being such an ***, I should point this out:

You can't put together an adequate sentence worth ****.

My suggestions:

- Go back to english class (hell, just go back to school)
- Get bigger injectors
- Get a bigger pump
- Get a tune
- Come back with results.

so you have no fmu or retune. you just bolted on the mani, turbo, oil lines, piping, bov and wg and started driving it? i'm confused as to what exactly you have

turbos get VERY hot, which is why they reccomend that you get an egt gauge. turbos can get so hot, if drivin very hard, for prolonged periods of time, they can tear themselves apart and melt the internals

yes, i guess that is the first thing to do, bolt on the turbo, intercooler and the rest.... i drive it daily but i don't race, past over 4 and '/2 thousand rpm......drive it slowly. everytime i always let the car on for a few minutes before shutting it down.....i am trying to get some injectors, they are expensive, i was reading that getting use injectors sometimes they can be bad.............where can i find 450 injectors for my 0bd2 civic..........i already bolt on the (fuel pressure regulator) i am getting the spark plugs tommorow, (step colder plug and gap the spark plug to .028-.030 inches) and some spark plugs cables, i already have a msd with the coil pack and the distrubutor cap, i just need the spark plug that runs from the cap to the coil pack........i need to find out if i need to change my computer from obd2 to obd1.......its expensive......can i get around it and keep my computer, add something else
