Default i keep leaking gas, why? HELP!

i have a jdm b16a in my 93 civic, now last week i had a small leak from the injectors. i went ahead and replaced all the rubber rings on the injectors(the o-ring, seal ring, & rubber ring). i noticed when i replaced them they were greenish and some what flat versus the ones i picked up at the dealer which were black and rounded off (Part # 91301-PM7-003 [also alittle loose around the injector but was tight when i installed them]). this i morning as i was driving i smelt some gas, pulled over and there was my leak again, from the injectors.

i went ahead and replaced them again, this time i used alittle wd40, thinking maybe they got torn while installing them. is this ok? and do jdm engines use different injectors than usdm since the o-rings were different?

also i have an aem fuel pressure regulator. it was set at 40psi, but now it is set at 30 psi, is this also ok? was my pressure to high before and thats what messed up the new rings?

any advice or suggestions will help, i just don't want this happening every week.
thanks!

i usually use alcohol when i put it in. dont put it in dry it messes up the o ring. just use some alcohol, wet it and stick them in. that always works for me

gas is the best thing to lubricate them with. as long as they arent dry they will be fine.
