I joined "Honda Family"

My first post!

I had a 2000 V6 mustang up until today. Im going to college and needed something with better gas mileage, cheaper insurance, and realibility.

So I traded in the stang for a 2001, Silver 2 door coupe EX, Power sun roof, leather, brushed aluminum trim, ABS, automatic, premium sound, and 100K bumper to bumper warranty https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

I am in love with this car! To tell the truth Im pissed I spent so much time in the "tank."

The only thing I miss about the stang is the "American heritage" that comes with owning one.

Anyways, I dont think I really want to modify it (even tough the salesman recommended it). The only thing I want is a classy Vtec sticker and a chrome license plate holder. Little later down the line when I have some more money, some rims.

The reason I bough the civic is my sister first got a 2000 LX 4 door that I loved, then my mom got a 2003 Accord LX and when I went new car shopping I got myself a civic.

I put 99.9 miles on the car today and it is still almost on full! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif

Im excited to own a quality car with some cool features!

peace,
Dan

I drove a V6 mustang for 3 years, Im use to piss poor performance.

This car will be remaining in stock form, next to some cosmetic adjustments....

If you're only going to be doing cosmetic mods, I would advise you to post them in the appearance and cosmetic forum. Just a little advice to avoid being flamed mercilessly.

Just rims.....because the stock ones are aweful.

I dislike ricers like everyone else. I did drive a mustang for 3 years lol

I like the stock wheels... they look like they are the same as SI's!

Not to flame or anything, but putting an after-market vtec sticker seems kinda ricey to me

Edit: I do realize that your car is vtec but it is still ricey to me

I want a small black one to go in the back corner by my door, rims, polished license plate holder, maybe shaved emblems......

I want to clean it up.

Re: I joined "Honda Family" (Yeehaw)

why shave emblems when ur adding a vtec one?

Re: I joined "Honda Family" (cnyej1)

I want A (meaning one a side) very small black emblem.....and I want to lose the EX.

The idea is to look clean and classy not tacky and ricey.

My mustang had black inserts on the bumper (like almost all people put on).

Yeah, if you wanna get rid of emblems why add different ones?

I personally like the idea of getting rid of the EX emblem but I don't like the vtec, I would just leave the H and be done.
