you dont have to buy hasport mounts. You will need a B-series passenger and I thing driverside mount. There are couple other things you have to change.

naw get a b18b1 and turbo it later b/c no matter how much boost you put into that d16 it will still be torque-less

^^^^^ Exactly what you need! You can get new mounts if you want.

I don't even see where the OP mentioned what kind of b18 he wanted, he simply said b18.

But a b18b would be my choice...just because it's cheap and if you end up messing it up and blowing it up (which is hard to do because they have a very strong stock block) then they are so abundant you just grab another one.

If you can afford a b-series swap AND turbo, do that. If you can only afford either a b-swap or d-turbo, STILL do the b-swap.

Just my 2 cents.

You can use any b-series shift linkage except the Del Sol Vtec linkage.
Depending on what motor you go with I think you can use diffrent throttle cables.
Any B series Hydro axle will fit it doesnt have to be a GSR axles.

Ok you can use any B series Hydrolic transmission. It can be a B16, Ls, Gsr, ITR, whatever it doesnt matter they will all bolt up with no modification. Then you can use any B series Hydro axle. As long as its from a car that has a B series hydrolic transmission, the axle will work. They can be from the B16, Ls, Gsr. All of these will fit into your current hub. However there is one oversize axle from the ITR the hub side is a little bigger.
