that really blows, i know how you feel too. things just keep going wrong sometimes, like the time i tried to do a simple brake job on a corolla, and everything went wrong. snapped one lug stud, stripped two lug studs, and after all that, the master cylinder decided to not hold pressure anymore. i gave up on it, and my uncle took it to a shop. oh well. good luck on this one though.

Maybe you should invest in a new car. Leave it stock and dont do any machanics to it and you shouldn't have any of these problems again.
Good luck with your girls car. Hope she aint mad at ya.

well im not giving up yet, i am building a stock* d16z6 no mods at all im building this tonight and im going to swap it in tomarrow, so i will see how that goes, if that motor doesnt turn on i am going to stop messing with engines for a bit...sad thing is i already made 2 ls-v's and 1 b20-v, and they came out perfect, and as for swaops i have a h22 in a EG and h22 in a EF under my belt, not to mention coutless b series swap..so i dont know what gives, i think its just my luck...

thats a shame man,
all that bad luck sucks.

in my opinion though, you shouldnt have given up on any of these problems,

for example, the mini me swap,
I know you put in a shitload of time trying to figure it out..
but I say keep going until you find out the problem.

that way you'll know for the future about some crazy problem that no one else could figure out.. and thus be able to prevent it from happenin again.
