I have seen people install a small air filter on the valve cover...
I have seen people install a small air filter on the valve cover where it is suppose to connect a air hose from the air intake. whats the purpose?would that small air filter increase the air flow or ??

there is a hose that is supposed to run from the intake piping to the valve cover.
you don't really want to the opening on the valve cover open or closed off, so people put a baby air filter there to prevent stuff from getting in.

thanks guys..i am running a air hose that comes with the aftermarket airintake.so i wont waste another $10 on that small baby air filter..

Yes it is called a crankcase breather. It's not really needed/used on a Honda engine. I have one on my Camaro when I went with a performance air cleaner.
