i have a map sensor problem

Default i have a map sensor problem

i have a 92 civic hatchback and i just put a lsvtec in it and for some reason im gettting a code for map sensor and i changed it for a new one and it did the same thing .so i had my frieand look at it and while it was running my frieand pulled the map sensor plug off and it didnt do anything to the motor .the motor still sounded like crap.to me it seems like the map sensor plug isnt getting power.please help
also i heard about dat 92 civics come wit the map sensor on the firewall is this true

look on your firewall, is there a mapsensor on there? is there a plug on your firewall connected to the mapsensor? either extend that plug to go into your tb or just make sure that map sensor is piped into your im.

yea i did the firewall doesnt have a map sensor

yea i believe only 88-91 civic's/crx's had a firewall mounted map sensor. Don't the TPS and MAP sensors have the same 3pin harness connection.. maybe you reversed the plugs. the map harness wires are white/green-white/yellow-red

nope some eg's have the map sensor on the firewall too. I think the cx model does.
