i had subs in trunk but sounded all getto with everything rattling so needless to say it was in less than a day i was thinking about the Q logic box but its like 800 dollers my ? is what are you guys using in your cars

The del sol offers its own problems when building a sound system. The key is to put the subs in the passanger compartment, if you put them in the trunk most the sound is blocked by the rear "firewall"/window. The rattles are caused by poorly welded trunk bracing and the odd shape of the del sol rear. Your best bet is to get a custom enlosure that replaces the rear storage bins, you should be able to find plent of examples searching here or on automotivetech.org in the del sol forum. Goodluck, and don't let the civic guys push you around, they don't know how unique the del sol is when trying to build a good sounding sound system.

well sorry i thought that if some one drove an integra or a civic then maybe they won't have an audio system in a del sol


this being why i ask people that own deal sols and sorry about being in wrong section i had a friend do it while i was in the shower next time i'll do it myself sorry if it offended you or anyone alse

yeah, i would definately get a custom job done and put it behind your seats. it will sound much better. subs in the trunk of any car don't sound as good as the ones in a hatch or driving compartment (like behind seats in del sol)... good luck, hope this helps.

dynamat will reduce your problem. its better to put a system behind the seats (replaces storage compartment).
