I have a 97 civic hatchback, looking to install a B16A
I am trying to find out any info in which is best to run with. OBD1, or OBD2. I am also not certain which my car is. I am looking to find out any info that can help make my motor swap as easy as possible.

Re: I have a 97 civic hatchback, looking to install a B16A (uncivilhb)
just make it easy and go OBD1 then you will have to convert to OBD2 for emissions purposes (your car is OBD2 but the OBD1 ecu doesnt require as many sensors making it easier to get running good)
so you need
OBD2a to OBD1 jumper
P28 ecu (chipped preferably)
and to pass emissions
OBD2a to OBD2b jumper
00 SI (PCT) ECU
so you need
OBD2a to OBD1 jumper
P28 ecu (chipped preferably)

OBD2a to OBD2b jumper
00 SI (PCT) ECU
