I have a 2000 boosted Si
Ok i am loooking into building my bottom end i just bought a b18c1 bare block. But I havent made my mind up on who i want to send the block to get sleeved? I hear great things about Golden Eagle, but then i heard darton does a good job sleeving to but they are a little cheaper then golden eagle and that you are just paying the extra $ just got the name golden eagle. so is there a huge difference?
so after I get it back i was going to do JE pistons and eagle rods.
im looking to hit 400-500 whp. so im just trying to see what would be the safest way to make it and what i should all do to the block?
its not my DD it just sets in the garage most of the time. I have a good turbo already t3/t4 57trim percision. I made 310whp on my stock b16 on 12psi. so just needing some more information on what would be the best for me to do before i start the build.

See if that helps! Honestly I know the basics and what should be done but never actually built a boosted vehicle so I'm sure there could be alot of better people to input on this. I know that a buddy of mine(wow a buddy story sorry) Does alot with boost and has good luck on benson sleeves.

Go to the Forced Induction forum and search. You'll find a lot more info regarding your question.
With the 57 trim you currently possess, you don't need to sleeve the bottom end unless you have the money and would rather have the security. As for the rest of the build, your piston choice is more a matter of preference than anything else. The compression depends on your power goals, sleeve situation and fuel grade.
If you have a budget in mind, checking prices would be a good place to start. You can't plan to make more power than your budget allows obviously...

I'm looking to spend around 4-5 grand I looked and called places
1000 to sleeve my block from ge, I want to sleeve because for safety.
800 for pistons
eagle rods
but I'm not really thinking about doing the head tho
I have a single walbro fule pump and aem fuel regulator. Should I change that as well??
But when I bore it out the shop I was going to said I should go with 84mm bore to get more mid range power. 2.0L but doesn't leave much more room for sleeve scaring??

I would start at 83mm. That is still a sizable increase over stock, but leaves plenty of 'meat' in case something does happen. For your goals, a single Walbro will be fine. That pump flows enough to make upwards of 500whp. The regulator you have is also fine...hell, the stock one would work.
Now to the head...you can leave it as is. There is no need to do anything but a set of a ITR cams would be a nice addition. At the power levels you're talking, you stand to gain ~40whp over a set of GSR cams.

thanks man you helped a lot! so im glad dont have to change up the fuel system. seriously itr cams will do that much power??? dang thought it helped but not that much. what do a set of them run?

Yes the itr cams will provide alot more power boosted over na. You can probably get a set of ctr or itr cams for around $250. If you are looking to do about 350whp there really isn't a need to sleeve it. But I can't say I blame you because you can always decide to go for more power that way. I am running stock b16 block bored to 81.5mm with ross pistons and eagle rods. Stock head with ctr cams. I am making 391whp on 19psi with a 60mm garrett. Before with the stock b16 cams I was making 369whp on same boost.

Yeah I heard ctr r more nasty then itr. But I'm looking to hit 400-500 so I wanna sleeve just in case I wanna do more down the rd. But should I also gEt a diff manifold? And I have a stock timing belt should I get a itr one little **** like that would help my timing better?

not a great boost guy. but if your running the stock one id say either machine that one or buy a new one. and depending on when you did your last one just for safety id say do it. idk if there's any difference but get a blue gates belt. will it make it better? no. just it wont break and destroy your hard work. unless you mean faster...which is also no. better timing youd need cam gears.
