you can twist the tps all day long and it not gona help. you need a dvm and spec out the tps.
at idle it should be at .45v to .5v
at wot it should be at 4.5v to 5v

1st find a t-pin so you can pierce the wire.
turn the ignition key on.
measure the red/blu + and grn/wht -
it should read approx .45v to .5v at idle
it should read approx. 4.5v to 5v at wot = wide open throttle
if not at spec. slowly loosing the screws the turn the tps to spec.
this assume that you have make sure your wiring are good, and you have not mess with idle screw.

the iacv(idle air control valve) is located in the back of the intake manifold. it's held on by (2) 12mm bolts and it has (2) coolant hose connected to it.
take it out and clean the metal mesh w/ break cleaner.

Re: (six_speed)
well i got it fixed... turns out it was the idle air control valve. when you shook the throttle body you could hear somethin rattling so we took it apart and the valve had come apart and all we had to do was screw it back together and it idles perfect now. Thanks everybody for your help.
